Brenda on Brenda: I am a 40 something single woman who is about a 50/50 combination of artsy and practical. My day job is one that allows me to tap into both sides of my brain dealing with the blessed predictability of numbers, and the marvelous unpredictability of people. The resonant anthem of my life with God is distrust in myself and utter dependence on His grace and mercy to do even the smallest things, which I've come to believe is the true message of Jesus Christ.

Jill on Brenda: Brenda was my husband's student minister in high school. I have gotten to know this sweet Spirit through Heath. So much of who Heath is, what our marriage is and what our family has become, is because of the prayers and steadfastness of this woman. The heart of Brenda is to challenge the status quo and just follow Jesus. She is funny. Content. Smart. And laughs. A lot. My prayer is that all of this comes across on these pages.
